Opening space: doesn’t this sound like a beautiful – rather poetic even – description of Co-working? The description on the home page of this website says:
Coworking is the social gathering of a group of people who still work independently, but who share values and are interested in the synergy that can happen from working with talented people in the same space.
Social Gathering. Synergy. Sharing Values. Talented people in the same space. It all resonates with Open Space Technology wonderfully.
Open Space was created over 25 years ago by Harisson Owen, a consultant in Business who was sick and tired of seeing all the real interesting stuff at conferences happening during coffee break. So he decided to create a format that would feel and look like ‘one long coffee break’.
But don’t be mistaken. A lot of work gets done during Open Space Events. Especially the ones where people gather around a real issue. An issue that has heart and meaning for the poeple in the room.
We have this topic. And we have talented people gathering. All we will do as hosts is to make sure the space is prepared in such a way that you can co-create, find synergies, create value and harvest content and actions.
Open Space is about the power of self-organisation. Give a living system the right set of conditions, and amazing stuff can happen. An empty agenda wall fills itself magically, people find each other, action plans are worked out.
We will do our very best to create the best possible conditions for you to flourish: you show up with your passion and responsibility for the issues you care about. Definitely sounds like a co-working space to me, doesn’t it?
